My name is Angelic and I'm a culinary student at The Culinary School of Fort Worth. I'm also a wife and mom. I've started this blog to journal my adventures in culinary school and to share other food nerd thoughts as well.
I've always loved food - not just eating it, but everything about it. I love shopping for food, preparing it and of course, consuming it. But it goes much deeper than that. I love learning about food - how it is grown or produced, how it gets from the farm to our table, how it impacts our health. I love learning about other cultures through food - eating is my favorite part of traveling. I love learning about people's food choices - like why someone is a vegan or a vegetarian - and how they came to that choice. I love the psychology of food - like how eating a favorite childhood meal can invoke a flood of memories. My favorite books to read our cookbooks. Cooking is my zen place. I simply enjoy food.
I'm deeply grateful for this opportunity to follow my bliss. I will share what I learn, along with recipes and a few laughs too.
